Bringing Nutrition to Life

Hunger, malnutrition and protein deficiencies have devastating effects on children and their families. Soy protein can help eliminate these problems – and that’s the purpose and focus of the World Soy Foundation (WSF).

Your support of the World Soy Foundation will help fund programs that will  relieve malnutrition among the roughly 963 million undernourished people in the world today.  We do this by using soybean-based protein foods to nourish and sustain their lives.

To improve people's nutrition and access to much-needed protein, we must rely on the generosity of people like you for support. Choose to give and make a difference.

Help Us Send Soy-Enhanced Emergency Food to Haiti

The Caroline Chauveau Girls School near the National Palace in Port-au-Prince suffered severe damage from the recent earthquake. Through the assistance of the National Soybean Research Lab, the Illinois Soybean Association and the WISHH Program,  these children have enjoyed soy in their school lunches since November 2009. Your support can help the World Soy Foundation and our partners produce and send shipments of soy protein-rich soup mix and other products to these students, their neighbors and other children in the area in this great time of need.

Soy Flour Donated to Support Humanitarian Work in Afghanistan

World Soy Foundation Board Member, Natural Products, Inc, donated a container of soy flour to the World Soy Foundation to support the Nutrition and Education International Inc.’s (NEI) humanitarian work in Afghanistan.

NEI uses soy flour to feed refugees and many others in Afghanistan, a country that has some of the worst health statistics in the world. According to UNICEF, more than half of all children under 5 years of age suffer from moderate or severe stunting.
