Brazilian Soybean Farmers Donate To The World Soy Foundation

September 17, 2009...Source: ASA Leader Letter...American Soybean Association (ASA) Chief Executive Officer Steve Censky and Executive Director of the World Soy Foundation (WSF) Jim Hershey met with a visiting delegation of Brazilian soybean farmers and agricultural organizations. The trip was organized and funded by APROSOJA, the association for soybean farmers from Mato Grosso state.

Censky presented an overview of ASA’s history and activities, especially focusing on policy development and advocacy to government representatives. Hershey described WSF’s origins and activities.

APROSOJA has been interested in WSF and supportive of its work. APROSOJA donated $3,000 to WSF.
